 The purpose of the products and application related to vehicle access & parking management is to have automated access for vehicles. These are either installed near the boom barrier will read the tag fixed with the wind shield of the car and is going to open the body automatically for authorized tags only. The first and the most important is RFID reader, the second component is would be the IP controller which will connect the reader to the barrier and this connected to RFID reader at one time which is used for in and out.

So for one in and one out where two readers are required, the third component is UHF tags and these are the sticker tags needs to be fixed with the wind shield of the car so that the RFID video can read it from a distance for opening the barrier if it is a registered tag and has authorized access. There are the metal hard tag that could be fixed with the number plate.

Requirement of the other system for car park access control systems

The fourth component is the software and these software come with an IP controller. To make the solution complete and working there are some other components of also required. ‘L’ or ‘1’ shape mounting poll of three to four inches diameter is required as for the boom body installed. The cables are used to connect reader to 4 core controller, while another specific PC-TCP/IP cable is used to connect controller.

One PC is required with minimum window 7 service pack 1 with 4 GB RAM with TCP/IP.

Some precautions related to installation

To start the installation let us start with UHF tags, it is important to understand the tag for the better performance, this tag is tuned to the di electric properties of the windshield glass, so proper performance achieved only when stuck to the wind shield glass. The UHF tag must be mounted at least two inches from the metal support posts on the either side. Get commercial RFIDdoor lock system!

The preferred placement is at the top right of the driver side of the windshield or at the middle of the windshield, as there is an antenna inside the tag some precautions needs to be taken to avoid it from getting damaged. The mounting area must be clean and free of oils with the help of cleaning solutions.

Strictly avoid bending or folding of the tags, do not staple or clip tags to paper, do not allow tags to get wet, and never attempt to remove the sticker once it is applied.
